I couldn’t be happier when I saw this article from huffingtonpost blog Oaxaca, Mexico and Montreal, Quebec are on the 8 under the radas foodie cities list.
Oaxaca (English // wə-hah-kə, Spanish: [waˈxaka]) is one of my favourite spots in Mexico and Montreal is the city where I currently live.
Oaxaca, is a charming city full of colours, traditions, with a rustic and contemporary feeling, while the food is crazy traditional with a strong character, very suitable for every paladar, you will love it.
Curious about mezcal? Well let me tell you Oaxaca is the mezcal Meca, you will find a very extensive variety of Mezcal and I am sure you will enjoy it. So If you have the change to go to Mexico and want check the “Real México” check out Oaxaca.
On the other side Montreal, my home for now. Here we have an enormous amount of diversity, people from all over the world, a multicultural city where you can taste and experience awesome food from everywhere, and some extraordinary crazy infusions. The french city of Montreal has a lot to offer, not just food wise, the vibe in the city is unique, come and enjoy montreal with an aromatic coffee and a buttery croissant or a classic Montreal bagel with smoked salmon
*ps: Don’t forget try one of the most popular dish in Quebec the “traditional Poutine”
